School Closure due to lockdown

4th January 2021 By billkirtley

Following the Prime Minister’s televised address this evening, our school will be closed from tomorrow (Tuesday 5 January 2021) other than for a limited number of children – children who are vulnerable and children whose parents are considered to be critical workers and cannot be safely cared for at home.

We will be in touch with the parents of those children who are considered to be vulnerable by text message (Unfortunately our text messaging system, Teachers2Parents, has crashed and we have had problems sending text messages this evening – we will try again tomorrow morning).

If after consulting the list below, you believe you are a critical worker and you would like your child to attend school from tomorrow, please email byersgreen@durhamlearning.net to inform us of your requirement. We will be unable to accept children of critical workers without this confirmation by email.
