Congratulations to our Y3/4 boccia team and our Y5/6 rounders team for representing our school at Sedgefield Community College on Tuesday 25 June 2019. Both teams were extremely proud to be awarded silver medals for their endeavours. Thankfully the weather held out and a good time was had by all!
Our Y5 children were delighted to receive a visit from Helen Goodman MP on the afternoon of Friday 21 June 2019. As part of their English lessons, they had written letters to their local MP outlining their concerns about environmental issues. It was wonderful for the children to have this opportunity to discuss their concerns face-to-face with a real politician. The children would like to thank Mrs Goodman for taking time out of her busy schedule to see them in school.
On the afternoon of Thursday 20 June 2019 we had a whole school music concert with singing, recorders, ukuleles and violins. Everyone had a great time! Many thanks to Mrs Coulls (our Durham Music Service teacher) for organising the event.
